That big oak at Northwest Open Space Park in San Juan Capistrano: Family photography

The old Oak said:
“But I have roots stretched in the earth
Growing stronger since my birth
You’ll never touch them, for you see
They are the deepest part of me”
– Johnny Ray Ryder Jr

Family Photoshoot Location: Northwest Open Space Park in San Juan Capistrano

The big oak tree sits in an empty field, with rolling hills softly gliding behind, waiting for a family to rest under it’s big branches. It is always a pleasure to photograph families in this beautiful space, a little slice of open space among the crowded suburban homes. Children can run and play and be themselves. The Open Space Park is a lovely location for walking trails, too. We photographed this family on a quiet Friday evening, when a storm was rolling through Dana Point, and a rainbow bloomed toward the end of our time together.

Enjoy the magical moments. They are so fleeting, so precious. Capture them while you can.
