This past Sunday I did what I have not done in a very long time: A bike ride in the early morning hours, by myself. I’m usually an early riser and love to go on long walks with my wife whenever I can. This Sunday morning she was taking the boys out on a day long outing, so I decided to go on a bike ride to capture some images.
It wasn’t as cold as I had expected. It was, however,
quiet and serene. After riding for half an hour I came across this small cave during the ride. The cave was used by thieves as a hide-out after robbing stages or stealing livestock. Holes were made in the cave walls to fit pegs on which to hang supplies. What an interesting thing to stumble into!
After a while, I decided to take a little break from riding and rest my mountain bike. It isn’t fancy, but it serves me well. The morning was getting much lighter, and more joggers and other riders began using the path, so I decided to head back home after one final shot.
